Rowing (Sculling) Day Camp will run from late June to late August, depending on demand. Programs will be Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons. Class sizes will be small: 10 students maximum can be accommodated. This allows for everybody to learn in single sculls. The lessons stress teaching technical skills of balance, good stroke sequence, even hand levels, and efficient manoeuvring. Drills will help reinforce the basic technique. Proper boat handling and water safety will be important topics. The afternoon program will also teach the basic technique but everyone will get a taste of paddle-boarding (SUP) and rowing a paddle-board.
