Here is a dryland balance drill.
Ride your bike hands free! Do you lean to one side? Try to ride with the bike perfectly balance in the middle. Is that too easy? Now try pivoting forward and backward as you would in the shell. Simulate arms and back rowing will you ride down the path! Don't forget your brain pfd, ie helmet!
Does that sound scarey? You can do the same sort of thing balancing on a ball or foam roller.
