So..... sometimes practice doesn't go quite as planned. This morning it was a Honda engine that cut out unexpectedly and left the coaching team stranded at the tip of Kettle.

While making (extremely) slow progress across the river, we were eventually rescued by an ORC coach boat and towed back to shore. Kudos to our Masters group who stuck with the practice and got in a good workout while practicing the finish (along a drizzly but calm river).
