Stunning skies on tonight's social paddle. Beautiful fall paddling lies ahead but note that we need to try and get away earlier...We started gathering at 5pm tonight as the sun was setting at 7:20pm...
Hey paddlers - who's joining John and me for the Kettle Island clean up on Saturday 16th? You can book your boat now! Post here or email us at paddling@onec.ca with questions or to have us extend your booking time. Should be a fun group outing as well as a great way to support conservation and community! Meeting at our docks at 8:45am to paddle and rendez-vous with others 9:30am at the beach opposite the club (southwest corner island). After Island clean up rendez-vous back at beach at 12:30pm for team photo and pic nic lunch (pack your own). Of course travelling with our own kayaks, have option to head back earlier if need be...

Hope you saw the email - book your boat to join in a social paddle Thursday 31st, 5:30pm-7:30pm, for the start of the Ballon Festival. The festival runs through the long weekend with morning and evening launches so take extra care on the water as it will be busy!!! The boathouse balcony is another great viewing spot.
