Dear rowing friends,

I want to share a touching story with you. As many of you know, my spouse died last year. As part of my healing journey (of which rowing is a part), I have become part of a bereavement group. In that group, one of the member's, his wife (who passed away) was a rower. Out of the blue, the husband was contacted by the President of the Cambridge Rowing Club last month who had rowed with his wife when they were teenagers in high school in Saskatchewan. He wanted to name a new rowing shell after the former's deceased wife because rowing was so important to her, being on the water was so important to her. How beautiful is that?
