Chief Pinesi Day Commemoration with Medicine Paddle
This day honours Chief Pinesi whose hunting territory was on the south side of the Ottawa River at the time of the establishment of Bytown.

About the Event
9:30 am to noon – paddle/portage/paddle to New Edinburgh park where Chief Pinesi Day events occur. We are inaugurating the Chief Pinesi Portage.

4:00 pm to 6:45 pm – Medicine Paddles to Rideau Falls from Governor’s Bay. Meet at Rideau River (at Charles Street) for short portage to Governor’s Bay.
