About the Event

9:30 am to noon – paddle/portage/paddle to New Edinburgh park where Chief Pinesi Day events occur. We are inaugurating the Chief Pinesi Portage.

4:00 pm to 6:45 pm – Medicine Paddles to Rideau Falls from Governor’s Bay.  Meet at Rideau River (at Charles Street) for short portage to Governor’s Bay.

These paddles commemorate the major indigenous portage route between the Ottawa River and the Rideau River.
