About the Event
The Kichi Sibi Trail is Free
Skate and Classic skiiers welcome.
The Kichi Sibi Trail has spectacular views of downtown Ottawa and the Parliament buildings. We can grab a hot chocolate at the Mill Street Brew Pub after our ski.
The trail is a goomed multi-use winter trail that stretches along the Ottawa River Capital Pathway, from the Lebreton Flats just west of Parliament Hill to Dominion Station. The trail welcomes all users whether they are walkers, skiers, runners, snowshoers or fat bikers. The salt-free trail respects the sensitive environment of the river shoreline.
Each day of the Holdiay Ski Spectacular we'll visit a new trail. Our event destination may change based on trail conditions. Any changes / updates / cancellations will be posted in the ONEC Winter Group Chat.
