The rules are simple: during the month of January row as much as you can  and enter your distance and time in your Concept 2 log.  If you do not  have a log, you can create one at  log.concept2.com/login.   On the “Team page” indicate that you want to join the ONEC team.  Note:  the team is listed by its full name not initials.  For those that  already have logs from previous years, you only need to go to your log,  click on Team page and indicate you are signing up for the VTC.  Once  signed up, please send Alistair an email at ahensler@bell.net. 

Alistair requests that each participant provide him, in confidence, an estimate of the number of meters that s/he expects to achieve.  He totals those numbers by January 1 and that becomes the team’s goal which is communicated to all early in the month.  This process worked well last year and encouraged participants during the final week to put in extra effort and surpass the goal.  Former members and friends of members have joined in previous years; Just let Alistair know at ahensler@bell.net so he can add you to his list.
