About the Event
This 3 hour Come Try Rowing session is intended to introduce the sport of rowing to newcomer Canadians in a fun and relaxed environment.
8 participants (4 per Quad / Coach)
2 Coaches (1 per Quad)
2 Stable Quads
Program Overview:
· Tour of the newly renovated historic boathouse facilities (NCC River House)
· Equipment overview
· Water and rowing safety overview
· Intro to the basics of the rowing stroke on Ergs
· Intro to on water rowing in stable open water coxed quads
