Update on tomorrow morning's practice.

The current Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) in Ottawa is 2 - low risk (source: Environment Canada). This is despite a forecast that predicted much worse air quality.

The AQHI forecast for tomorrow morning continues to look terrible at 9 - high risk. For this reason, we'll be postponing Time Trials, as vigorous outdoor activity should be avoided.

We will instead host a light row, with the final call to go out onto the river made dockside. Everyone's tolerance for smoke is different based on their personal health circumstances, so there is no pressure to go out onto the river if it doesn't feel right for your lungs.

Sherry and I will be rowing in singles and checking in on other rowers out on the water to provide some coaching tips throughout the session.
