2022 Asynchronous Practices
In addition to our Coached Masters Practice we also have asynchronous practices available for the 2022 season. Asynchronous practices have been designed by the Faster Masters coaching team out of Auckland, New Zealand.
You have a choice of two plans to choose from:
Training Program (choose this plan if you intend to compete in Regattas)
Fitness Training (choose this plan if you intend to row for fitness)
Training Program
This plan is updated monthly. There are daily practices Tues through Sun, with Mon being a rest day. These sessions may require modification, especially at the beginning of the rowing season to avoid over-training and injury. Let your coaches know if you intend to follow this plan. These workouts are available as a download or in the Masters Rowing Logbook.
Fitness Program
This plan is also updated monthly. Choose from the following workouts and aim for 1-5 workouts per week:
Fat burning workout
Aerobic fitness
Aerobic fitness + Endurance
Endurance building
Rowing Technique
These workouts will be updated in the Group Chat & Logbook at the beginning of each month.
