Rowing Group
Boats Back (early heads-up)

Although the river level is now some 2m above the decks, it's not too early to start thinking about Boats Back! We can't confirm dates yet, but we’ll be calling on members from early May to early June to help with all the work required to get us rowing again once the water levels recede. Lots of help will be required on the weekend of Boats Back, and smaller work parties will be organized on the weekends leading up to it.
Work parties in May
installing new rowing docks and the ramps, and repairing old docks and quad trestles
scrubbing sediment off the decks and getting boat racks ready

Boat's back!
Motorboats, that is. Three of the Club's motorboats were fit up, trailered and launched this morning from RYC and driven to River House. The first of many steps in setting up watersports facilities for an exciting 2026 season!
