Hello everyone,

Karen was able to secure the purchase of two more Edges. They are ready to be picked up, at Trailhead, and brought to the dock. Can you help?

There are two kayak roof racks at the Pavillion should you need them. The pick up and drop off can be shared amongst a few people. They need to be picked up within the next few days. If you can help, please email Marie at paddling@onec.ca

As the summer days get shorter, consider being ready to float away by 6:00 pm.

Not sure how the weather will turn out tomorrow. As usual if any thunder we won't go out. I will keep an eye on it throughout the day.

Today was a good day for watersport safety!

The Rowing & CSM Safety Team (thanks Elise Tatone & Darlene Conway for coming out!), along with Club President Mike, tested a series of new reboarding ladders for both the inflatable and metal safety motorboats. Big thank you to Mike Hardstaff for procuring a variety of ladders, all of which work better than our old ones!

Additionally, @Bernard Rochon was on the docks taking measurements to inform the upcoming installation of safety lights on the docks…just in time for increasingly short days. These ladders & lights will benefit all ONEC watersports members and campers. Thank you team!
