Masters women @ Petrie Beach Sprints

With that, we are trying to find a balance between quality racing, an efficient race schedule, and the overall participant experience, we are gauging interest in a Masters W1x event. I’m game for Masters if others are. Otherwise, fine with Open (just keep in mind Open can = racing against people 20+ years younger!)

Thank you Alistair and Congrats to ONEC Rowers!!

Many thanks to Alistair Hensler for his extremely generous gift of $2000.00 awarded to to most participants to complete the full marathon along with the Hensler Cup..

Congratulations to ONEC's 14 intrepid rowers who faced rain, waves, and a brutal east wind to complete the course and bring home the Hensler!

Well done team!

CSM 2026 Memories

(Unpaid) Pelican Promo!

Between my phone surviving a 3 hr PM swim in June & CSM 2026, me thinks it’s time for ONEC watersports to apply for sponsorship from Pelican!

yes Jenn, and I can attest that my phone survived that downpour into the boat thanks to Pelican...at the time, I coxswain and I couldn't bail fast enough ! sponsorship for CSM Aug. 22, 2027 sounds like a brilliant idea!

Evidence of the conditions CSMers had to contend with yesterday! (dropped the anchor; Zach’s poncho became a sail 😂)

when we came around the tip of Kettle, I had been watching the flags at the marina...straight out with the east wind...my seasoned estimate of wind speed was low 20's...did anyone clock the actual speed of the wind?
