This rope (north side of dock “insert” btw LQ dock & ramp dock) was dangling in the water this AM, the bow of someone’s shell got caught in it while docking. It’s since been tied tighter to (hopefully) prevent this, but now we have to be mindful not to trip on it!

P.S.: why yes, it appears those are mushrooms growing in the damp (rotting?) wood… 🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫 hopefully these docks won’t be The Last of Us 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️…

Found this morning hanging on the bow of the Litequattro. I'll leave on the workbench below the safety kits.

There’ve been some changes to our oar lineup, following work by volunteers to paint and apply Club colours to blades. Five pairs of lightly used oars have been added (#2, #7, #9, #14, #21); two of them (#7, #14) have Vortex edges (but are not Smoothie blades). Here’s how the rack looked yesterday (numbered from top):

Rows 1 and 2: 7 pairs of matching Smoothie Vortex, 1 pair Hatchet with Vortex edge

Rows 3 and 4: 8 pairs Bantam, 1 pair Hatchet with Vortex edge.

Rows 5 and 6 at front: “Better” oars, Hatchet blades and one Macon. Oar length and inboard may vary a little from Club standards.

Rows 5 and 6 at rear: Oars that need sanding/painting. Watch out for splinters!
