To Parliament Hill and back !

Updated: Nov 26, 2023

Before the season ends, I wanted to talk about the most iconic excursion that one can done on the Ottawa river. While there are lots of great excursions that can be achieved (in less than 2.5 hours) from the ONEC docks such Kettle Island, Upper/Lower Duck Islands, Lac Lemay, Jean Richard shipwreck, nothing is as grand as seeing Parliament Hill from the river. Never get tired of it....

Due to the geology of the Ontario’ shore, going to Parliament Hill will let you enjoy both nature and architecture! In addition to two small bays where you can see some small wildlife, the following buildings or features can be seen from the river. Mind you, due to the trees, some of them can only been seen on the return trip.
