The boats are racked (mostly), we have a new mascot, buddy rowing is being rehearsed, and the first tour has already been rowed! Try to keep up everyone - it's going to be a busy summer!

le français suit Many members have already seen the fantastic results of our pavilion revitalization project, which included fresh paint, new ceiling render and lighting, a renovated men’s washroom, enhancements to the women’s washroom, custom counters, shelves and benches, as well as upgraded pavilion furniture. We at ONEC are pleased to announce that we have successfully received funding through the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program for our new initiative, Seniors Paddling to Wellness on the Water. This program will offer free kayak and Big Canoe excursions for adults aged 55 and over, giving participants the opportunity to experience Ottawa’s beautiful waterways in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
