Hi all rowers!
It is that time of year again...
The daylight hours are fewer and here are some helpful reminders for visibility:
Don't go out in the dark.
Within 30 minutes before sunset (dusk) or 30 minutes after sunrise (dawn) you should carry lights and wear visible colours - I know everyone loves their neon!
Bow lights can be slid into the slot for the bow number (Never taped or glued). They can either be red/green or solid white lights
Singles and stroke seat (double) should have a headlamp
Quad rowers should each have a light - think headlamp or other light worn around the neck
There are a few hacks to make your own bow light if you don't have one: https://www.row2k.com/features/638/DIY-Bow-Lights/

See one example below of an LED light attached to a plaster spreader
Thank you Elise, that is very helpful
