Winter sports officially launched this weekend on January 9th with Betty leading a multisport crew (Tennis, Sailing and Rowing) along the Ottawa river pathway for a winter hike.
On Sunday, with e-screening forms filled out, a small crew from ONEC Rowing (Christina, Roxanne & John) hit the Ottawa XCS trails.
Starting from the ONEC waterfront site they skied 17.26 km along the Ottawa river, watching (and listening to) the ice flows float down the river.
A beautiful day (-6C) & great company.
Cross country skiing will run until March and is available on Tuesdays and Sundays at 10:00AM while Snowshoeing runs on Saturdays at 10AM.
