Beautiful day last Sunday, on the mighty Madawaska River, for the annual Burnstown Head Race. Eleven rowers represented ONEC at the event (plus two more moonlighting on a mixed club crew!)
The men's quad took first place in the afternoon 3km race, and both the women's and mixed quads came in third in the 3km and 4.5km morning races respectively.
ONEC also had the largest cheering/navigation squad on the bridge, giving our rowers that last push to the finish line.
