This week you may have found the walk to the end of the docks longer. Not your imagination! Two twenty-foot sections were added on Monday, to give an additional 400 square feet of space for rowing, kayaking and SUP users.
These dock sections had broken away from the pack in May and were blown upstream, getting stuck on a sandbar upstream when water levels were low. Recently, higher water freed them. Carl, Bernard and Warren repaired the docks over several days and, two months after their escape, secured them in their new location.
