This early-season tour is organized by ONEC's touring committee for the Ontario Adventure Rowing Association (OAR). We'll row in a canal, river, locks, wetlands and open water, in an area rich in local history and wildlife habitat.
We leave from Perth and row downstream on the Tay Canal, through a wildlife reserve and the Tay Marsh to our picnic site at Beveridges locks. In the afternoon, we continue through Lower Rideau Lake and the Rideau Canal to Poonamalie Lock.
