Hello Rowers, I know everyone is excited to get the season started. If you’ve been by the boathouse this weekend, you’ll have noticed that a few final tasks remain on the docks. Our dock crew, led by Patrick Fagan, Boathouse Director, has worked extremely hard to get things to where they are now, and I ask for your patience over the coming week as they complete the remaining work.

A few updates on what to expect:

• The cleats on the south side of the docks will be removed.

• Any open spaces will be covered once the final connections are complete.

• The east bay ramp will be attached, giving us access to the east bay boats.

• The connection to the main sailing dock will be reinforced so the temporary ropes can be removed.

In the meantime, please exercise extra caution around the docks and be mindful of the unfinished work in the area. We all want a safe and smooth start to the season.
