There’ve been some changes to our oar lineup, following work by volunteers to paint and apply Club colours to blades. Five pairs of lightly used oars have been added (#2, #7, #9, #14, #21); two of them (#7, #14) have Vortex edges (but are not Smoothie blades). Here’s how the rack looked yesterday (numbered from top):

Rows 1 and 2: 7 pairs of matching Smoothie Vortex, 1 pair Hatchet with Vortex edge

Rows 3 and 4: 8 pairs Bantam, 1 pair Hatchet with Vortex edge.

Rows 5 and 6 at front: “Better” oars, Hatchet blades and one Macon. Oar length and inboard may vary a little from Club standards.

Rows 5 and 6 at rear: Oars that need sanding/painting. Watch out for splinters!

NOTE in the photos that all but 2 of the 32 pairs of oars are lying flat on the wood arms. They’ll all fit without stacking on the rack, as long as you square the blades and stagger the collars when you put them on the rack!
