An international rowing tour on the Rideau Canal (below Smiths Falls to just above Kingston Mills) is taking place August 10-13. Organized by Volker Fritz and Canadian coordinator Richard Vincent, the crews will include 6 Germans, 2 Austrians and some Canadian rowers. The keen European rowers will be kicking off their visit with a row on the Ottawa River at 9:30 am and lunch at River House on Sunday, August 9, hosted by the ONEC Touring Committee.

If you see them on the water or the patio, be sure to greet them warmly!
