Pin protectors

ree

These half tennis balls are there to protect the hull of the boat underneath. Give boat repair a break. Reduce scratching.

Keep the ball on the pins while you are moving your boat out of the bay and put them back on before you put the boat back on the rack.

Always try not to touch the hull of the other boat with or without the ball.

Are folks keeping removed balls in their boats during rows or leaving them on the dock? If the latter, maybe we could put some small transparent Rubbermaid containers on the docks before launching for people to put their removed balls in, which would double as a visual reminder to put them back on before racking? I have a couple said containers (from a failed home org project 🙄) I could bring in if you like this idea.
