For those attending the Kettle Island Cleanup on Saturday (a rare opportunity to explore the nature reserve while helping to keep it/our precious river clean; poster attached), don’t forget to register with the NCC (the Nature NCC, not the National Capital Co.) in addition to booking your ONEC boat. While the cleanup event is open to the public, only ONEC paddling members can take ONEC kayaks/canoes; others can take the shuttle boat provided or use boats they own personally.
